How to Play
Build your adventurer, climb through a 7-phase cycle, pick rewards after every fight (win or lose), and
bank
essence from PvP and bosses to unlock more options.
Getting Started
Choose Class, Race & Background β Each combo sets HP, starting items, and passives.
Arrange Your Board β Drag items from stash to your 5Γ2 grid. Mind size; weapons are
uncapped for now.
Click "Start Run" β Begin the 7-phase loop.
The 7-Phase Cycle
Opening Choice β Pick a PvE encounter and grab a reward.
Path Selection β Vendors, events, or more PvE.
Ghost Duel β PvP vs another player's build; earn essence.
Camp Phase β Merchants/events to tune your loadout.
Elite Battle β Tougher foes, better rewards.
Patron's Whim β More vendors/events.
Boss Fight β Big rewards + essence; advance and loop.
Combat Basics
Auto-battle: Items fire automatically when their cooldown reaches zero
Haste/Slow: Speed up or delay item cooldowns for tactical advantage
Freeze/Stun: Temporarily disable enemy items
DoT Effects: Burn, poison, and necrotic damage tick over time
Shields: Absorb damage before HP is lost
Exhaustion: After 30 seconds, both sides take escalating damage to force a conclusion
Economy & Progression
Rewards every fight: Pick from items/abilities after each encounter β even on a loss.
Elements: Items/abilities generate elements; spenders consume them for big effects.
Sell Items: Get 50% refund on anything you don't need.
Vendors: Themed pools scale by stage.
Essence: Earned from PvP and bosses; spend to unlock characters, races, classes,
backgrounds.
PvP Streak: Three PvP losses reset your runβchoose wisely.
Pro Tip: Weapon cap is disabled while we experiment with builds. Go wild. Hover over
items
for detailed stats and effects!
